My 7 year old son has been doing karate here for a month now. They made him feel so comfortable with a private little session away from everyone for the first time, learning some basics. The community is wonderful! I love the responsibility, discipline, and thoughtfulness they team the kids. They make the application of these skill practical for their life and things they deal with. Mr. Cam is warm and welcoming for the kids and not intimidating. Mr. Joe who teaches my sons classes can be firm but kind at the same time. It’s a great combination.

Short Story: Action Karate has been a great experience for my 4 year old who turned 5. In the past 6 months she has developed in ways that would not have been possible otherwise. This was an excellent journey for her to gain confidence in her self and learn how to interact with other before kindergarten.

Long story: My child is well behaved and socialized, but I was still nervous about her transitioning into Kindergarten. Like many other parents, I am guilty of too much screen time, and had worries about her attention span and following authority. After Action Karate came to her daycare, I tried a trial class. Now after 6 months, I have come to realize this experience has given my daughter much more than expected.

The program is very well thought out, focusing on discipline and self confidence. The instructors are very good with children, Mr. Cam and Joe run a great shop. This is not about self defense or sparring for her age, even though there is a touch of that, it is more about learning important lessons and physical activity. Some of the meaningful things covered in classes were: dealing with bullies, interacting with strangers, complimenting peers, following multistep directions, competing gracefully. These are topics not covered well in daycare.

There were times where I was a little uncomfortable; not being able to go out to the mat or talk to my daughter to assist, or watching her get yelled at for not following along. But this is what I was after; in school we won't be there to help our kids, and this was a chance to observe her work through difficult and awkward things, and sometimes we were able to work through those things together as well.

I highly recommend this program and location, and I expect to send my younger child through when she is of age.

Truly a second family. The instructors truly care about the students and their lessons. We started there almost a year ago, and with every promotion or skill learned my daughters get more excited and eager to learn.

We also had a birthday party there and truly a memorable experience. It showcased the skills learned with board breaking and even had a samurai sword to cut the cake.

Action Karate Fairless Hills has become a safe place for my children and myself over the near two years that we have been apart of this school so far. What we have gained is immeasurable to say the least. This group has quickly become like family to us. I expected to learn self defense but did not expect to walk away with so much more than that.

Really happy with the concept, service, and instructors. They are responsive to communication, make it a point to work with the students on important characteristics you define, and establish a great relationship with the students at a professional level. My 10 year old has been going to classes for the last 4-5 months and he enjoys every bit of it.

My step son started at Action Karate Fairless Hills in February and loves his classes (especially the karate in the park in the summer). Mr. Joe, Mr. Cam, and all other staff are so supportive of meeting each child where they are and building kid’s confidence. In April, we celebrated my stepson’s birthday at Action Karate Fairless Hills and we did not need to worry about anything other than a birthday cake! Food and drinks were included, and Ben got to cut his birthday cake with a samurai sword! Ben had so much fun showing his school friends his student creed as well as different skills he has learned as a martial artist! I am so excited to see his progress each class and I feel as though the community at Action Karate Fairless Hills is so helpful and understanding! I cannot recommend this location enough to families looking for a sport/activity for their loved one that teaches skills in physical strength and important values that they can carry with them throughout life.

So we were invited to a birthday party here, and it just blossomed from there. Ms. Brooke, Mr. Cam, and Mr. Joe made us feel like we’ve been part of the group forever. My boys are so excited to be part of this group. They are 9 and 11. They also chose to join the young leadership program, where they get to assist with the younger classes. I’ve seen such a transformation in both of them. They are so proud of themselves. I am so grateful that we decided to make it a permanent thing, and become part of Action Karate. 🥋

Action karate has been a wonderful experience for us my son is autistic with clonus with that he shakes and his feet turn out and hands turn in and doing karate now he's shaking is not even noticeable and his confidence level is a very high now compared to what he was less than a year ago Mr Joe and Mr cam have been wonderful with us I recommend them highly all over the place

Action karate Fairless Hills helps young children understand their strengths their limits their surroundings and gives them self control through training and practice. This helps them understand their own physicality and how to respect others.. it also empowers them with the strength of knowing that they're strong, can defend themselves, and connects their mind to their body motion..these things are especially amazing for autistic children... my autistic son who normally has problems focusing will try harder in a martial arts class to pay attention..there's almost an innate need to balance his physicality with his mind when he’s in this environment. We truly appreciate the love and acceptance especially from mr. Cam despite any of my sons behavior challenges..We cant wait to come back :)

We are so happy to have found the Action Karate family!

After the initial session, my daughter (4 years old) tried the group classes, but she had some anxiety and had trouble separating to participate.

Mr. Cam offered private lessons to help my daughter learn and grow her skills without anxiety. She finally “graduated” private lessons and is now thriving in the group classes.

Mr. Cam and Mr. Joe do a tremendous job of making every single person who walks into the karate studio feel welcome and feel like family. There is no judgement to be the best or be perfect. This was just the thing my daughter needed to help build her confidence!

Coach Joe and Coach Cam are excellent instructors, they're are kind and caring and understanding and make the kids feel comfortable. They make learning Karate fun for the children and they always encourage the children to move outside of their comfort zone. My son doesn't do well with change he always liked to stay within his comfort zone, with the encouragement for Coach Joe and Coach Cam my son did his first Karate tournament and won and gold medal and a 3rd place trophy and is about to participate in his 2nd tournament. If you are looking for an excellent Karate school you won't have to look any further then Action Karate in Fairless Hills.

We had a short demo after they visited my daughter's (she is 4) daycare, and I am so thrilled we tried it out! Mr. Cam, Mr. Joe, and Ms. Brooke are skilled, compassionate instructors who infuse practical lessons into every session. I've already noticed a change in my daughter's confidence. Our kids have benefited so much from Mr. Cam & Mr. Joe, they’re fantastic at leading the class and teach so much more than karate moves and self defense. Every class is powerful and exposes our kids to wonderful life lessons I don’t think they would learn elsewhere. I highly recommend this class to any parent interested. I took an adult class at Action Karate Fairless Hills and was nervous considering this was my first experience with martial arts. However, Mr. Joe and Mr. Cam did a great job making everybody in the class feel comfortable, welcome and more than capable. I know that kids can benefit from participating in karate, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that even adults can get a lot out of it too. A great workout, an awesome environment and two leaders who truly care. What more can you ask for?

This is a brand new location and both of the instructors, Joe and Cam are amazing!!!! My kid’s confidence soared in just 3 weeks of classes. They both take a very individualized approach to each single kid so no kid ever feels behind, left out or lost. They make sure each child is on the same level. They make the classes disciplined, educational, but also super fun!!!

What is the style of martial arts that you teach?

At our classes, you will be able to learn traditional karate and its techniques, which include some fitness-based exercises.

Although each of our locations offers a different schedule, you can join us for your training sessions six days a week during our flexible time slots. This means we can accommodate your time schedule as and when you need it.

When you join us for your first karate training session, you should simply wear loose and comfortable clothing that you can move around in. What’s more is that once you join, you will receive a uniform that is included in the $49 introductory special.
